NOVEMBER 18, 2022, UPDATE!!!

I just wanted to let everyone know that God is good, the money has come in and we're moving this weekend! Stay tuned to see what God is going to do through Unlimited Mercy Ministries! Thank you for your prayers and support!

November 11, 2022

Hello!

I pray that you’re blessed with God’s perfect peace! I know it’s been a while, but I wanted to let you know how things have been going for me, and to ask for your help with a ministry the Lord has been leading me into. I have never liked asking for help - sometimes that’s an issue with pride. But I believe the Lord is telling me to get out of my comfort zone and depend on my brothers and sisters in Christ to help make this possible. And when you help make something happen, you participate with that ministry in it’s salvations, healing, and other blessings!

Almost 4 years ago I married a Georgia peach named Kari-Lyn. She is a devoted follower of the Lord Jesus, and an encourager for me to “fear not,” but to “stay prayed up!” Her favorite preachers are Perry Stone and Mario Murillo, which tells you everything you need to know, right there! She has 3 kids and I have 3. Only 1 is currently still at home with us. His name is Dean and he’s a teenager. He loves taking pictures of space! You should look him up on Facebook! Awesome pictures of Orion, Andromeda, and others.

Earlier this year we were hired at the KOA in Trinity Center, Northern California. After the park closed for the season, we have struggled financially, but have held on here because we are convinced this is where we’re supposed to be! I have recently acquired a part-time job, and hope to add more work days to my schedule. Income is slowly starting to come back.

We have been praying about a ministry for a while now. I haven’t been a pastor for over 7 years, but now it’s time to stir up that gift again (2 Timothy 1:6-7). For almost 3 and a half months, we have been living by faith. We quickly spent what we had saved up from all of us working, to pay the bills. I’m not trying to get you to feel sorry for us, just want you to know how strongly we believe we’re supposed to be here!

Where we’re staying now is about to close for the winter. We’re supposed to be out by around the middle of November. At the same time, we have found a place that will be available by around the middle of November! It has everything we need to live through the winter that’s coming on, plus there are a couple buildings on the property that we want to use for ministry; we can use either of them for prayer meetings, Bible studies, live-streaming services, and as a home base for the ministry.

Where I’m asking for your help is the fact that we are about $4,000 short of what we need to get moved in. We have a week. Am I nervous? Yes, honestly I am. Am I fearful? No, my wife won’t let me! We have been standing on the promise that God will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:8), and that He will supply all of our needs according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Let me tell you about the ministry…

Unlimited Mercy Ministries.

The God's Word Translation of Isaiah 63:7 that says:

I will acknowledge the LORD’s acts of mercy, and sing the praises of the LORD, because of everything that the LORD has done for us. He has done many good things for the nation of Israel because of his compassion and his unlimited mercy.

The 2 words translated unlimited mercy are one that means abundance, or multitude, and the other Hebrew word is CHESED…

That phrase is also translated in different versions:

…and according to the multitude of his lovingkindnesses (KJV, NKJV)

…according to the abundance of his steadfast love (RSV, NRSV)

…in his unnumbered mercies (BBE)

…and the abundance of his loyal love (LEB)

That Hebrew word is used throughout the Old Testament to describe God’s covenant love with his people. That mercy and love is unlimited, when we call out to Him! Unlimited Mercy!

We’re at the beginning stages of a website:

unlimitedmercy.org. It’s really bare bones right now, but will be adding material.

Northern California is not like Southern California. Think of North Florida versus South Florida. On the other hand, there is still spiritual darkness and a great need for the light of Jesus to shine and revival fires to burn around here. There are drugs, witches, pagans, and all the demonic forces that go along with that. There is a huge gap in churches, as opposed to North Florida, for example, where you can find a church with any style you like. Please help us reach the unsaved with the Good News that Jesus is Lord, the Prince of Peace and the Savior of the world, and that includes any people from Trinity County who will allow Him to change their lives!

Our next step is to get moved over there and start inviting people over for Bible studies and prayer meetings. I’m going to set up the camera or cell phone to start doing a live stream at least once a week, while adding other videos that contain encouragement, and teaching in the Word of God. Let me know if you want to be added to our contacts, so you can see how the ministry is growing from the ground up.

Here’s what I’m asking from you:

  1. Pray for us every time you think of Kari, Dean, John, or Unlimited Mercy Ministries!

  2. Speak over us in faith. “Lord, I thank you that their ministry is reaching the lost, and discipling believers! Thank you that they minister to veterans and put Bibles in people’s hands who need them!”

  3. Financially assist us. This week we need much and we need it fast. We need a suddenly. God specializes in those! Please pray about helping us do what God called us to do so that this area will have the light of Jesus! We haven’t gotten set up for nonprofit, but we're working on it. In the meantime, if you will, send it to our personal address.
